What changes the price

  • How much roofline you want lit. Track is the biggest part of the price.
  • How high it goes. A bungalow is quicker than a three-storey house.
  • Access: conservatories, extensions and steep drives take longer.
  • Extras like canopies, archways, lit paths and characters.
  • Power. An outside socket near the lights keeps it simple.

What's included

  • 48v LED light track, colour-matched to your fascia
  • Weatherproof power supply and smart controller
  • Fitting, wiring and setting up the app with you
  • A 48-hour call-out if anything fails
  • Left up all year: nothing to take down or refit

Permanent lights or Christmas only?

The package price is the same either way. With permanent lights you keep them up and use warm white every evening, then colours at Christmas, Halloween or a birthday. With our Christmas option we take them down in January and store them, and next year you pay half to have them put back up.

Questions people ask

How much do permanent house lights cost?

Permanent roofline lights from Honest HQ cost from £1,574 (10% off before 30 November, usually £1,749). That covers the LED track, the lights, fitting, a smart controller, maintenance and a 48-hour call-out. They stay up all year, so there's nothing to pay to take them down or put them back.

Are permanent roofline lights worth it?

They cost more up front than a box of clip-on lights, but you never go up a ladder again, they look built-in by day, and you use them every evening of the year, not just in December.

Do I need permission for permanent lights?

Most homes don’t. If your home is listed or in a conservation area, check with your council before anything is fixed to the outside.

Can I see the track in the daytime?

Barely. The aluminium track is colour-matched to your fascia, so it reads as part of the house.

What if a light fails?

Maintenance and a 48-hour call-out are included in the package price.
