Storm fence repairs in South Wales
Panels blown out, a post snapped at the base, the whole run leaning into next door. We make it safe and put it back up properly.
One or two panels from about £285 in South Wales. Your exact price comes from a few taps.
Signs it needs doing
- Panels blown out of their posts
- A wooden post snapped or rotted at ground level
- The fence leaning or rocking in the wind
- Gravel boards cracked or missing
- Gaps where the dog can get out
Why now
Most storm damage is one or two panels and a post. We swap timber posts for concrete where we can, so the next storm doesn’t take the same section. If the whole run is tired, we’ll price a new fence too, and you choose.
Questions people ask
How quickly can you come out?
Usually within the week. If it’s dangerous, like panels loose near a road, tell us and we’ll make it safe sooner.
Is it covered by my home insurance?
Sometimes. Many policies exclude fences, but some cover storm damage. We’ll give you a written quote and photos to send to your insurer.
My neighbour shares the fence. Does that matter?
Check who owns it first: it’s often shown on your deeds. We’re happy to talk to both of you.
Which side is my fence?
Your deeds may show it. If not, talk to your neighbour before starting. It saves a lot of hassle.
How high can a fence be?
Up to 2 metres in back gardens usually, and 1 metre next to a road, without planning permission.
Concrete or wooden posts?
Concrete lasts much longer and won't rot. It's included here as standard.
