How it works

Sorted in three taps.

  1. Tell Donna what you need

Answer a few taps — or snap a photo and she’ll measure it for you.

  2. See your price, book it

An honest price on the screen, then pick a survey slot there and then.

  3. Grace sees it through

A vetted, insured trade does the work — and if anything’s not right, she’s on it.

  • Cracks and marks that need filling first

What to expect

A decorator will look at the rooms, check the condition and ask what paint you like. Most of the time goes into prep: filling, sanding and masking. They'll protect floors and furniture as they go.

One room is usually 1 to 2 days. A whole house is 1 to 2 weeks.

Questions

The things people ask.

Do I buy the paint?

Either works. Many decorators include trade paint in the price. If you have a favourite brand, just say.

Do I need to empty the room?

Moving small items and clearing shelves helps. Big furniture can be moved to the middle and covered.

How many coats?

Usually two, sometimes three for big colour changes.
